HoneyBook automations are no as robust as Dubsado due to Dubsado giving you more elements to start the automtions from and being able to pause and add workflows.

What Platform Can Withstand the Growth and Scalability

HoneyBook at Scale: As long as your brand does not need extra customisation within forms then you can probably withstand Honeybook for as long as you need. They have also built in some eextra functionality around their finance section which would be quite helpful if you need to look at Tax etc.

However I would like to say that both these CRM platforms should not be used as a accounting software.

Dubsado at Scale: Sophisticated automation that grows with you. Whether you’re booking 10 clients or 100, the Dubsado systems will flow seamlessly and as your business scales Dubsado will hold that growth.

The Question: Are both CRMs able to deal with unlimited amount of clients?

Yes Dusado and Honeybook can deal with unlimited in both of thier pricing offers, however both would be focused on small to medium businesses.

The Migration Reality (This One Hurts)

Switching FROM HoneyBook: As Dubsado has launched 3.0 we do not know what other features it may offer in the future. So bearing that in mind, if you wanted to migrate from Honeybook it will be long due to rebuilding workflows. However it is possble to export your client data and move it via CSV.

Switching TO Dubsado: Usually happens when businesses are ready to scale with more client experience at the forefront of the businesses mind.. Migration is comprehensive because you’re not just moving data you’re upgrading your entire operational philosophy.

The Truth: Both platforms it is eas’y to switch client data. It is just building the workflows and assets that takes the time. Both have very different systems.

Support and Community Reality

HoneyBook Support: I do not have much expereince with this, but from what I can see it is standard customer service. Friendly enough, but limited by the platform’s capabilities. They can’t help you build something the system wasn’t designed to do.

Dubsado Community: This is where something special happens. Because Dubsado attracts serious business owners who are thinking strategically about operations, the community becomes a goldmine of advanced workflows and business strategies. The Dubsado User: Has more customisation and robust automation. With the new Dubsado 3.0 rebuild, I look forward to seeing a lot more features being added over the next year.
